HOUSTON – Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Houston (ABC) held its annual Christmas Party on December 6 at Karbach Brewing Company. The ABC Political Action Committee (PAC) hosted the event and funds collected throughout the night will go to the PAC for future events and fundraisers.

“We raised over $21,000 at the PAC Christmas Party, which will be used for our political endeavors in 2018,” said Brandon Mabile, Business Development Manager at Performance Contractors and PAC President at ABC Greater Houston. “The Political Action Committee visits Washington, D.C., Austin, and city hall, as well as hosts committee meetings and sponsored events with elected officials. The funds from the Christmas Party will help cover the costs and meet the PAC goals for the upcoming year.”

Over eighty members attended the Christmas Party, including public officials Council Member Jack Christie, State Representative Wayne Faircloth, and State Representative Dwayne Bohac.

As December draws to a close, ABC is looking forward to its Inaugural Celebration on January 11, which will recognize incoming ABC Greater Houston board members and committee chairs. The event is expected to receive local media attention and discuss plans for 2018. Members of the Political Action Committee will also be in attendance at the event.
